You have no fucking proof. Do you understand that. If you did you would have had her arrested. The police don't want to get involved because.... YOU HAVE NO PROOF. Just because you lost your wallet and either through hotel error or deliberate setup, your card was used on her room doesnt mean shit. That is why the police blew you off.
WHY DO YOU THINK SHE DID THIS? It would be the most stupid thing in the world for her to do, the hotel room was in her name, she steals your wallet and what waits 5 days to use the card to pay $300 towards a charge that is in HER NAME... can you say PAPER TRAIL??? very few people would be that stupid, and really don't think she is one of them. people that steal wallets use the card with in minutes then dump it. People who steal a wallet with $1,000 in wouldn't use the credit card for a $300 charge that is attached to their name. They would run up a bar tap, or go shopping with the card, not use it for a bill in THEIR NAME.. do you understand???
Again, you have no proof. The hotel saying they think it was someone in her party doesnt mean shit. And this is according to you, which how do we know the hotel really said that, not like your word is worth much.
You have no proof but you continue to not only give her a hard time and make it sound like she stole your wallet, but you dig around trying to get dirt on her and you make comments like " i hear mostly bad stuff about her".
I hope she sues the fuck out of you.
Even if I had strongly suspected someone of doing something, if I did not have concrete proof I would never publicly say anything about if. For 1, without proof I wouldn't do that to someone and try to ruin them because " i think so" and 2, I wouldn't open myself up to legal liability without having proof to back up what i was saying. I hope you learn from your actions here.
