Yeah. I don't understand why so many owners have their heads in the sand regarding this issue.
The TV biz learned very quickly that piracy makes it impossible for them to make mass profits selling TV shows online... so they adapted. Go see
http://abc.go.com and watch their full episode streams. They monetized free in a way that makes sense for them.
Obviously we can't beat the pirates... so what are we gonna do to develop our business for the future? We are going to have to monetize free. There's no "if, ands or buts" about it.
