I dont do a lot with non Hd anymore, so not going to buy a deck for minidv. There really isnt much advantage to having a deck. Id rather buy a new 300.00 camera than an 800.00 deck if it breaks.
Quality for captures is the same too from what Ive read. Is there some advantage to a deck?
