Oh yeah, another fun thing about TomTom is that if your GPS position and where it thinks the road is a little off, it will show a dotted line with "50m" or whatever, saying you need to travel a short distance to get to the road (eg if you were on a private driveway). The problem is that it doesn't give any clue about your ultimate direction, so if the road position data is wrong it thinks you're travelling next to the road and will not give you any directions other than to drive 50 metres east to the road. Last weekend I ended up travelling about 5km west when I was supposed to be travelling north because of this issue. (I didn't really care since it was a leisurely Sunday drive to nowhere in particular... but some might...)
