and another downside of vinyl (besides of being a pain in the ass to carry around): i had a colleague who sometimes was so drunk that he leaned over the deck to find the startpoint with a candle in the hand - and ruined a good bunch of LPs that way

but if i still need to use vinyl it has to be the one and only player: Technics SL1210 MKII
