The concept isn't really that bad I think.....I'm getting something a bit similar
for my new custom harley that I'm working on. I want a tattoo paintjob on
the whole bike.....but something that's not too busy and matches and fits
exactly to the bike. 1 matching design instead of a collection of 100 different
tattoos. Bike will be matte black and the tattoo design will be metallic silver
and perhaps a few different shades between silver and black for stuff like
shades a 3D feel. The design I'll use will be either Maori or Haida style which
I personally like best but also is perfect to use for a paintjob design as it's
not to detailed, 2 toned and is built up from nothing else than basic shaped
and lines...
Been thinking and started working on this project for some time and is a work
in progress...that I hope in 1 or 2 years will be finished....It's a hobby project
so I don't work on it that much or regularly....
I've got the frame, front fork suspension and both front and rear wheels done
and ready (bought these custom made) and I'm about to start working on
hand making all the other parts like fenders, oil tank, air filter, seat, gas tank,
oil tank, handle bars, forward controls, other design elements, before I get to
the paintjob for everything. These parts I'll handcraft with the help of a good
friend myself.
