You will not have a problem using your US Master Card in any of those countries.
The chip and the pin are for local cards issued by the bank within that country.
If you go to some small far off town or tiny village you might not be able to use your CC. In that case make sure to go to an ATM and withdraw money
- if you get 300 euro for instance the charges from your bank are less than the 3% you pay the CC for the exchange
