Oh I see. I forget the differences in dialect. Most people around here pronounce "when" and "win" usually the same way.
I don't normally carry that dialect, but I've started hearing it the same way in my head. I know it wasn't the best example/mockery.
In all my years of English, literature, & journalism classes I've never heard of any rule that would make that proper. I don't think we're gonna agree here but I do appreciate your reply. Agree to disagree?
