KimJI, you touch on what is one of the major flaws of DMCA - there is no "repeat" penalty, and no requirement for sites to prove they have the rights to content.
A site can steal content from 10 people, 1 complaints, so they remove that 1's stuff and let the rest go. Then the stuff from the 1 is re-added, and must be once again DMCAed for the new URLs it appears on. They remove it. Then the stuff gets re-added... and so on.
What was the term the other day? "User generated Content"? That is what the mainstream people are calling wholesale content theft. They weakly point their finger at anonymous users and say "they did it!", not for a second accepting any responsbility for creating the very structures and systems that allow and encourage this type of theft.
The adult industry needs to snap out of it's slumber and realize that the apparent industry leader AVN is neck deep in the exact business model that is fucking porn over solid.
