It was never meant as a comparison to Vegas - just a statement about the event itself. Like you say though it doesn't mean the parties and pissups aren't worth going to
I'd also disagree about the statement someone made about 'it's what you make of it'. If it's anything like last year little in the way of useful adult info/contacts are gonna be made at the event whatever you try to make of it. Agian though, it doesn't mean the off-event stuff isn't fun/useful.
