I can see you're working hard and what matters most is if YOU got the results you were aiming for. With that said there were two things that caught my eye right away.

In the first pic it was the wrinkled background. To work it should have been taught and wrinkle free. I've used stuff like that before and I know they get messed up while being stored and I hate using them. It's ok for a test shoot but it wouldn't fly for a finished product.

In the second pic it was the clash between the background and the models suit. I don't feel they compliment each other.

Again, if you're just testing lighting situations it's all good but if you were planning on putting something like this in your portfolio I'd take another look.
You're on the right track so keep at it and keep posting your work. I enjoy looking at it.
