Bill Maher said it best. Saying your country is the greatest in the world is like saying your wife is the best in the world.
Truth is, you've probably never been to France, nonetheless many other countries in the world. You have no clue what it's like to live there and are basing your judgements on a Sean Hannitty segment. The US is a great country for me, but it might not be for others. Perhaps someone who likes to gamble would enjoy a country that allows you to. Perhaps someone who wants to pay less taxes would enjoy a country that is lower. Maybe someone just likes a different climate than ours. Or maybe they just enjoy the people and cultures of another part of this world.
To say a country is the best in the world is just ignorant. It may be best for you, but not for others.
