I have a very distant relative who died recently, one I barely know -- so funeral and service are pretty much "optional". All I know is at this point I'm too fearful that if I touch a church door lightening will probably strike me. (Or if I actually get in, holy water might make my skin burn.) So I'm just sending a sympathy card.
