hes not as bright as you think - Simmons partner Richard Abramson is the brains and Genes the name/face/brand.
read up on gene and kiss and your perception will change dramatically. up until the first reunion tour back in 96 (which they toured on for almost ten yrs LOL) he wasnt as wealthy as he lead people to believe, sure he had money but not like he has now - the smartest move he made was doing the reunion and the merchandising that went along with it.

He was the brains behind all of the original Kiss merchandising, the dolls, the pinball machines, the lunch boxes, etc. I have read up plenty on Kiss, and I'll stand by my original statement.
