What is the terms of the lease. If they are late 1 time for more then 30 days do they lose the domain and all money they put into it?

Its a great idea. You can't lose. You sell more domains now because people can afford them and you make 10% more with no risk to you. If the person builds the domain, gets it listed everywhere and then falls on hard times for whatever reason, you keep all the payments they made and get back a domain worth more money now then before.

I didn't read your site, so i am just making assumptions, please correct me if I am wrong.
we allow for a grace period and voluntary pause but if the lease to owner defaults, they will not get the domain. on the bright side, they will have been able to experiment and not have any longterm consequences either. we are not going to report to a credit agency for example. any product one would lease to own will revert back to the seller if the buyer defaults so that is just a fact of life and risk the buyer must take. the option is always there to payoff early with no penalty or buy outright from the start. at the end of the day, a few bucks down and a tidy monthly payment is a nice deal. dell finances equipment like this too, so does GE.....
