What you need to do if you don't know the person, is pay from funds from a mainstream or corporate account. Borrow your friends or whatever just to test them out. That way if they try to scam you can file easily and without problems. If he/she scams you they won't be scamming you, they will be scamming an entire company. In this situation I was somewhat cautious given the fact that there were numerous complaints here on GFY regarding this guy.
What I did was paid through a Premier account which is reserved for premier business accounts (ours was a verified with over 100 clean transactions). I paid for mine July 18 with the promise of having at least a layout or design sample of the site on Fri July 20th. So now it's July 26th and I haven't seen anything.
This guys communication skills are strong DURING the sales process, once that's complete it is VERY hard to get a hold of him or even get him to respond, it's an age old play...
Get the Customer - Get the Sale - Disappear
If you've been scammed or have problems getting a hold of him, do this, get another ICQ and see if he will respond to a message regarding a new sale, trust me he will. During the time we were waiting for him, he stated his "design team" was busy but was on GFY marketing for more customers and responding on the site, but not responding on ICQ at all. I should have judged based on previous posts and from his past history on here but like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Good thing I was cautious. I am not bsing or an angry unreasonable person, trust me on this and trust the people on GFY that I've met and conducted business with outside of this board and in the adult business.
Bottom line, don't work with this guy.
