Personally, I did military service in my (adoptive) country and really hated it. Now I know how to clean and shoot weapons, how to clean up an amphibious vehicle, how to wash the coroner's car and how to peel potatoes. Damn, very useful knowledge, now I don't need to take my amphibious tank to the car wash and can cook well peeled potatoes
