Actually writing the malicious code for the ARM processor that the iPhone uses is the difficult part... would expect this to be patched before anyone has a chance to make a real malicious program.

In other words.. they found a way to get arbitrary code into memory, and to execute.. but actually writing the code to that would do the evil stuff is a little bit more difficult.

Even so, its a serious problem, we'll see how apple handles it.
