Hey man, thanx, how cool, esp coming from another designer
@Bake: well, kind of. If good AND pretty, then better. That's a comoomn mistake in adult, that "pretty" don't sell and some people critiziced me because of that without even using my services!

So I put this page at
http://www.fdsign.com/2007/stats/index.html Not only shows "pretty" sells, but it sells better than any other style. Of course, if well done (it helps that my formal studies are in Marketing instead of design). Otherwise, the biggest companies in the world instead of doing a multimillion campaign would do a 3 rows ad in a local newspaper. Or instead of usig a hot model they'd put some ugly salesman. Personally, even tho I know MANY cases of design done just for the sake of it and not thinking on the product, the controversy between good design and good sales is simply and plainly ridiculous, there's a world outside to prove it
@livegirlsonbed: I can't even start to explain all the flaws in your logic. I never heard of a designer asking for more money to do it fast or slow (unless it's a rush and the designer has to leave aside current projetcs). Scriptlance? Yes, if you want a MAINSTREAM template you MIGHT find somebody good, but adult requires some kind of especialization, believe me, and even the worst (yet experienced) adult designers are better than 99% of scriptlance's designers who never did adult before. Then you left out sales, conversions, marketing, aesthetics, branding, upgradeability, support, etc etc etc. I hope you don't use designers with that same logic
