Then yes, you are hosting your html and your thumbs, not the actual galleries. The amount of bandwidth needed depends largely upon the amount and size of thumbs that you will have.
Given today's stupid amount of free content, a rough rule of thumb would be to use 1 meg per page load so roughtly 1 gig per 1000 page views.
A new skimming TGP SHOULD be able to get to 5k visitors very quickly, If not, the TGP game isn't for you.
