Need feedback on exclusive feeds licensing solution
As far as I am asked frequently about Licensing of our exclusive streaming content inside other's members areas (which never happened yet with one exception).
I want to do a bit of a research and try to forecast the demand plus clear a couple of issues with this new opportunity:
Description:
- you get a unique reserved link to put inside your members area to open a new window player
- You get every day new updated 2 - 6 streaming wmv's from the past day in the world's only true sexclub with real people
- updates from the day before and syndicated news feed so the members can watch for any special actions at exact date
- trailer to show the concept to the first time surfers
- no upsell by default, it's only on the site owner if he wants to enter into an affiliate agreement
Questions:
1) is wmv only enough ?
2) is 503 kbs enough or do we need to convert it to at least 1024kbps?
3) if there is no archive but the one latest day of updates only, to keep it unique, would that decline the value?
4) will it decline the value of our exclusive content ?
5) won't you bitch about that your members can find the original website and brand producing the stuff via search engines if they like it?
6) The price I discussed was like 10 times the price of the membership which would be between 300 - 400 bucks a month, you got reservations to that?
7) fixed fee is easy to account and no hassle, but to pay per bandwith is more accurate, what's your view on that?
