Seriously though guys, lemme see if I can explain.
A major part of porn's "draw" is that it's a "forbidden" thing. It's naughty, a no-no.
Many women grow up being told that porn is nasty and disgusting. Believe me, women are catty. A stripper is a slut - hell, someone who dresses sexy is a slut. It's BAD to act sexual in any way whatsoever, that kind of thing is NOT to be talked about and certainly shouldn't be watched or viewed.
It's called sexual repression, and it certainly isn't fun - but it isn't something to make fun of, either.

These women feel that their husbands are lying to them (which they are), going behind their backs (which they are), and cheating on them in some sense - after all, why would the hubby need to go watch porn online when he could just come into the bedroom and have sex with the wife?

Perhaps they need to "lighten up" or "get some self-esteem", but that's not something you can turn on like a light. It takes the combined effort of the wife AND the husband, the person she trusts most, to make her comfortable enough about her own body and eventually sex.
Why do you think it's said that most women don't hit their sexual peak until they're in their 30's? Sure, *part* of it might be physical, but more than anything it's mental. By the time they've hit 30 they've been in and out of a few relationships, they know what they want and don't want, they're more comfortable with themselves and more confident that even if they don't look like a supermodel, that's still okay. Once they reach that mental state where they can accept themselves and look at their little "flaws" and just shrug, only THEN can they start opening up sexually and fully appreciate the constant state of readiness that most guys are in.

I had the same problem these ladies are having. It's part of the reason I became an adult webmaster. I'm one of those "face the problem head-on" types of people - but that's rare. Remember, women are STILL taught to this day to keep quiet, don't make a scene, bottle it up and consider yourself lucky that someone even found you attractive enough to marry you.
With society pushing women built like Tyra Banks on the television as the ultimate vision of femininity, it's no wonder women learn self-loathing from an early age. Because 99% of the women in the world are NOT built like Tyra Banks and will NEVER look like her no matter how hard they try.

Try to see it from their point of view before automatically pointing and laughing. You might think they're fucked in the head, but turn around and look at how you're raising your daughters and what they're seeing on TV and ask yourself if you've been sowing those same seeds of self-hate and sexual repression in them.

Hell, half of you won't even tell your family members that you're a pornographer. If it's so "okay" and should be so widely accepted that you can bust a gut laughing at the *real* emotional pain these women are going through, then why isn't it "okay" and accepted enough for you to tell your family?

Just think about it.
See, for me it is not so much how blatantly repressed and entertaining it is to see this go on. It is a combination of them being so repressed that they make a site devoted entirely to cutting our sales. That's mine and your paycheck.

Besides, who really is so pathetic that they are going running to the newstand and pick up the latest issue of barely legal if they hear or read the word "pussy"? Come on now, that's just funny.
