well first the problem is that the internet and posting on boards takes away the human factor. its harder to yell at someone standing in front of you or after you meet them and realize that maybe your first impressions were off.
here on the board very few actually do meet in person, and generally I find when they do - all is well afterwards. on the other side of the coin - the adult industry is now becoming more negative as we begin to tear each other apart while the real enemies are working on the legal means to shut us down.
if we were to turn all the bitterness and anger we feel towards one another on the boards and start using it to support free speech and the promote our rights to produce and sell porn we would not be having this long drawn out process with 2257 etc.
why does the government or religious groups need to do anything - from the looks of it sometimes, we are destroying ourselves - from the inside.
