As long as we don't attack them, the Theocracy would fall within a dozen years. Most of the population is young and doesn't like religious extremism.
Unfortunately the idiots who run our country are war hungry religious maniacs and they're going to bomb the shit out of Iran, polarizing the country against us and insuring that the regime will be around for decades.
