Also, in order to die for a belief, I would have to believe that this particular belief is more important to me than my life and even though this may sound extremely shallow I have to admit that to ME, nothing is more important than me and my life...

In my eyes, I would rather live instead of die and cure aids, cancer, stop human suffering. I would still have to put myself first. It's an instinct.

I always have to look after myself first because if I don't no one else is going to.

I wouldn't die for any person. My need to live (personally) is more important than anything else in the world.
I have to look after myself numero uno. In this world it's everyone for themselves.
