The Pledge of Allegiance
This is a question for Americans.
As I understand it, no other western democracy has a pledge of allegiance that their school students recite every morning before class. I'd like to know how Americans feel about this practice and what purpose they believe it serves.
It it something you believe should be continued or discontinued?
