if it wasn't for bill gates a lot of use wouldn't have jobs online... or pc's in our homes. i know a lot people like to blame bill gates and complain while they're using there windows pc computers but you can't get mad at the guy or company for being successful. its not gates that screwed anything up its other companies that decide to change things... lets face it Microsoft set a lot more standards than later other companies come in and change things and people blame MS for not converting to the new standards.
as for IE... it does something very simple that MS haters complain about... IE fixes errors, if you don't close a tag it fixes the problem and loads the page correctly... FF and other browsers don't do that. Yes, I can see how one can say thats a bad thing, but it's smart in a way. IE has been doing this long before FF came out so why be mad at MS for continuing to fix errors. why not blame FF for not atleast attempting to fix an error
