Not content with the strikes that took place a few weeks ago, our hero firefighters have been on strike all day again at a time when we are sending most of our troops out to Iraq to fight a war, some now having to stay behind and cover for these 'hard up' firefighters.
Just watched the news where the government are being blamed once again for putting the lives of the public at risk for not giving them the new 'bumper' deal they are seeking. When the army here had to fill in for a full week with poorer equipment and 50 year old fire engine's the managed fine. They are on half of what the firemen get per week.
They knew the wage before they chose the occupation so why moan now about how bad the pay is ? Back to work guys because public support has dissapeared....
