I don't think you can get an ulcer from just drinking a little more than a case of beer in one week for an extended amount of time. That could break down to a little more than 3 beers a day. I drank 5 days out of the week for about 3 years straight and don't have an ulcer. It was almost like a 2nd job, I would put in about 6 hours of drinking each of those days. Damn, now that I look back on it, that was a waste of time/money.
I think there are probably other factors that led to your ulcer other than just drinking.
