I've seen a LOT of companies try to self insure. I've seen it work once. Running an insurance company ain't as easy as everyone seems to think. |
Actually your mistaken alot of companies are self insured and they hire big insurance companies to manage it for them. My dad worked for one of the biggest health insurance companies in the country and that was part of what he did.
