I honestly don't think it would be as big of a hit on taxes as so many complain.. In regards to how much you pay out overall. Sure your taxes might go up, however you would no longer be paying for health insurance. You would no longer have to pay a deductible for your health care or for meds.
Auto insurance would be cheaper, because it would no longer require personal health insurance. Medications would be cheaper like they are in places like Canada and the UK ect ect. In fact everything in regards to the current health system would be cheaper.
So over all you wouldn't pay more out of your pocket, it would likely be much less.. However you would pay more than you do currently in taxes, but like I said, overall you would likely pay less.
