I get that all the time, on ICQ. Mostly Asians wanting to talk to me because I have Japanese listed as one of my languages. I just tell them "I'm sorry, I only us ICQ for work." and they say "Oh, ok, sorry." and I never hear from them again.
On the other hand, the locals who contact me because they live near me (and find this from searching for our city on ICQ) won't shut up, even if I tell them I'm working... even if I'm rude... nothing works with the Nash-billies.
Even people I've totally ignored say 'hi' every morning... Not too annoying yet, but just... wierd you know? If I'm not replying... give it up. You know? Hehe.
