I'm not saying that she should be forced to have the kid, but she should at least have to hear his side of it and make a decision from there.
A friend of mine went into the hospital to get a vasectomy. The doctor made his wife sign an agreement saying that she knew of the procedure and approved of it. When asked the doctor told them that it was policy because they wanted to make sure that she didn't come back and sue them later.
There are several states that require married men to get their wife's approval before getting a vasectomy. It's his body, but she has a say. How is this different?
