Adult Internet/Production Company seeking a Systems Administrator to spearhead all IT projects, servers and network of 50+ workstations. The role will provide an excellent opportunity for growth.
The position will be responsible for setting-up, analyzing, and troubleshooting computers, applications and systems for Company users, providing network, server, and PC support. Duties include troubleshooting of PC problems, application issues and server problems as well as installing updates and administration of servers, including Adds, Changes and Deletes to user accounts. Position is also required to work with third party support and vendors. Assist in researching, proposing and implementing new technologies and provides training, as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 Years IT Experience
- Systems management, maintenance, troubleshooting and remediation including:
- Windows Servers and workstations
- Apple Servers and workstations
- Apple XServe RAID
- Linux/Unix
- DS3
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SAN, NAS, SMS, VPN
- System backups
- User Accounts (adds, changes, deletes, passwords etc.)
- Security (including Firewall & VPN)
- Antiviral and Anti-Spam systems
- Network performance monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.
- Inventory maintenance of all software and hardware
- IT evaluation, recommendations and purchasing including software, hardware, etc.
- Working with vendor(s), including co-locations and hosting facilities wiring and cabling maintenance as needed.
- ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK, PRIORITIZE, EXECUTE AS DIRECTED, AND HANDLE A FAST PACED WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to self-manage and work successfully within the WMG IT team
- Must be reliable and punctual, and will to work after-hours and on weekends when necessary for schedule maintenance or emergencies.
