Exercise gurus: Theoretically, about how much muscle weigh can you gain...
in about 1 week?
Just wondering, because I've put on something like 11 pounds this last week and I don't know why.
I had the lap band surgery, and I was really dropping like crazy, I am still eating well within the range of the plan *probably 1,200 calories a day or less*.
I swim every day for 30+ minutes...in fact I've made such strides as going from only being able to do about 4 laps in the pool to 20.
But ever since I started to approach the 260 range *was teetering around 264, I started creeping back up. Like 2-3 pounds a day and weighed this morning in around 276. That is still way down fro 325, and I do realize that I will be replacing fat with much heavier muscle, but 11 pounds in 1 week just doesn't sound right.
