Yes, but a good chunk of those 3m were in fact costs from the previous litigation, I think. Either way, to quote myself,

It's how an argument is built. According to A, a1 and a2 are the best and greatest. However, according to a larger sample of people, a1 and a2 have no value. Therefore, A's ideas on valuation are useless.
