I agree they are a little different. Mainly in the sense torrents don't affect everyone here and spyware does. Torrents don't affect dating and cam sponsors or affiliates that promote those sites. Spyware fucked everyone, even the idiots who were buying traffic from them.

You not hurting me by advertising on a torrent site because I don't produce content, or have a membership website and I don't send a lot of traffic to membership sites. But I do understand the content producers and membership site owners/affiliates point of view...... putting money in the pockets of people who steal traffic from you is no different then putting money in the pockets of people who create sites that allow people to steal content from you. Stolen content / stolen traffic it pretty much adds up the same way.

People who use spyware pay the spyware company for traffic, so they help fund the site that steals from us.

People who advertise on torrent sites and get traffic from them help fund the torrent sites, which gives steals content from a lot of people here and fucks a lot of people here.
