Bleh, I just talked to discover, they said they have to accept the payment, but then they can mail me a check afterwards.
The problem is both of the other companies charged me a 3% fee to transfer the balance, so I need to try and talk the 2nd one into dropping that fee if I pay the balance off right away.
Otherwise I paid 6% upfront to get rid of a balance I was only being charged 11% on
That's bad math
