So I've been getting multiple 0% balance transfer offers from credit card companies.

I decided to apply for one and transfer my discover balance.
While applying for the card, I entered my discover acct info and balance to be transferred.
Then I was told it would take more time to process the application, etc etc.

So two weeks go by and I hear nothing, so I apply for another card with another company.

The other card gets approved instantly, and I transfer my discover balance to them on 6/25. (around 4K)

So I check the mail yesterday evening and get cards from the first company, I go online to access the new account and apparently they also sent $4K to discover on 6/29.

So now for the moment it appears that I owe this balance twice. Discover is just showing a zero balance (but it's very possible the payment sent on 6/29 hasn't processed yet)

Has this ever happened to anyone here? How did it play out?
