a funny quote, but a profoundly true social observation.
"Goth" is a product of a society that forces both parents to go to work, they become aloof to their children, do not spend time with them, nor pay attention to them.
these children become young adults, and desperately need someone, anyone to notice them.
and yes, most of these otherwise intelligent souls, do end up at Kinko's for life, or in other avocations that do not require direct public contact.
of course they can "pose" and do some modeling, porn or otherwise, but the sad part is that none of them will ever be captains of industry, and most will grow old, embittered, disillusioned, and depressed.
but "goth" is so fun and cute when you're young
and the look has a limited commercial value, and it ain't sexy.
