What was it like being a friend of John Gotti?
You know how it was if you went to a restaurant with John? He'd sit down and say, "You know that person over there, second from the window by the bar, in the yellow? I think we met him at so-and-so's wedding." I'd look, and sure enough it was the person. Very perceptive and observant. The modus operandi of John and his lifestyle, that's dead and gone. There's no honor, no anything anymore. The rest are just charlatans and impostors, killers and cowards and low-life squatters.
