I would especially appreciate answers from Europeans, but rest of the world is welcome, too
there's many different things that could the problem....the thing that most
often happens with weed is that it's infected with spint (parasites) when you
smoke it it has a taste like it's been stored for years even though it feels fresh.

Then there's people who fuck with the weed making it look good and sticky.
Nowadays a lot of weed gets processed where they extract the THC in
washing machines tumbling so the crystals extract from the buds.

They use the THC to make ice'o'lator hasj which is basically 100% thc crystals
only and is VERY potent.

After they've done this mostly gipsies don't like to throw away the weed
or process it again for other stuff. They spray shit like sprite, milkpowder,
water + sugar mixtures over the buds so it looks like kickass weed again.

The of course the guys who grow weed but don't know how...they experiment
with all the available grow and flower boosting chemicals that are available
and don't stick to the prescribed doses.....this gives the weed a very sharp
chemical taste and it makes your throat feel flammable.

For the best weed in the world you just make a trip to Amsterdam and go
by the coffeeshops OUTSIDE of the city center ring. You can find the best
places on the internet or by asking your local hippies

The older the hippie the better.....the young kids know fuck all and just send
you to the first place that pops into their mind.
