Led Zep never made it a secret that much of their tunage was based on or adapted direcly from the blues. They took the blues and adapted it to hard rock like no other band in history. In fact most rock fans would never have known about most of those blues songs had Led Zep not reworked them.

And I can name 100's of other artists whose music is based, influenced or otherwise adapted from other forms of music and/or other artists.

Those criticizing the band over that are lame, and have their heads up their asses.
