don't take this wrong, but that could be a good thing. as you know home prices in the area are insane. the ugly burnt areas will have much lower prices because of the blight. buy NOW and in 2-5 years you will not even know there was a fire. from the footoge I have seen most of the residentual areas were not a crown fire, meaning that the big trees are still there. it burnt all the lower duff and mid level branches which will grow back more healthy then before.
