Perhaps because companies such as the one you work for takes pride in fucking people over?
Perhaps because webmasters grew tired of the large companies shaving them?
Perhaps because this industry is full of fakes, felons and fucks to begin with and it is inevitable that it is going to implode?
Perhaps because content theft is at an all time high and content producers are tired of it?
Perhaps because the leaders in the industry, leaders like AVN, will even fuck us over if given the opportunity?
Perhaps because the industry is in a non-stop battle for survival, from 2257 to .XXX and anything in-between?
Oh, I dunno. Lots of reasons I suppose. But whatever the reason, you can rest assured that you and your company have a small role in it. The day the largest companies started selling out the industry, it began to go downhill.
If we are forced to constantly look over our shoulders, forced to assume we are being cheated and lied to from everyone we know in the industry, you will get a serious negative backlash from a lot of people.
And this is not a hateful post, that is just the honest truth.
Asking if or why the hate mongering has escalated in the industry, is as dumb as asking if / why people die in war.
