And thanks to the guy in the thread who pointed it out in a friendly way for me
The ICQ advertising was actually rather useful. Ive managed to get in touch with a lot of aff program managers who have helped me out a lot
Cold calling isn't anything new. I was nothing but polite to everyone I spoke to, and I think anyone I spoke to will agree. I only had about 4 people who were immature and rude to me.
And a while back, I did pay out $100 for a hosting package, that the guy then canceled as soon as he had my money. £55 was taken out of my pocket for nothing, and yes I was pissed off when the guy was flaunting it on GFY, pretending that he was a serious businessman running a successful Hosting Business, but was very open about stealing money off of me without providing the service I'd paid for.
Im a very honest person and I feel strongly about principles, and although $100 may have seemed trivial to some people, the principle of the matter did count. Plus $100 is 20,000 paid hits from Choker, which at the time when I was launching my first sites would have proved very useful, and I don't mind admitting that
