Anyone who thinks they are "safe" should throw in the towel today. There is no such thing in this business, which is all the more reason to minimize your risks in every way that you can. You may think a young company offering competitive rates to attract new clients is the safe route, but I tend to think the established company with a large banking infrastructure behind it has a little more staying power if (or rather when) trouble hits. Of course, I could just be a dumb fuck....
