Hey everyone. First, I must admit..I'm still very new to the adult webmaster industry. I consider myself a quick learner and have not had many problems getting my site's layed out and getting some traffic coming in. What I am most curious about is where the best money come's from. I have started doing a number of traffic trade's with site's but notice the traffic itself doesn't seam to great. Not many visitors coming from trade's stay at the site, look around, and/or purchase a single thing.
I've also tried purchasing some PPC traffic and noticed that the visitor's do stay, they look around, jerk off to whatever they see, and then leave. With my site's being as new as they are SE traffic is not huge yet..so it's hard for me to really judge that.
With 2 different site's, one running a CMS script and the other running Wordpress, both getting nearly 500 UV/day I am surprised after a few weeks still not seeing one sale! How many unique visitors do your site's get before seeing a $25-$35 sale?
Could it be the layout? the traffic? the sponsor?
I've tried tons of different strategies from changing sponsors, changing my layout, and just about anything else I can think of but I still can't see a change!
What are your thoughts on free hosted galleries? My CMS site is mainly to promote galleries which I get hosted from my sponsors. Would it be better to stear clear of galleries? And if I was to do away with galleries, how else could I go about adding content to the site and giving stuff for visitors to look at?
I'm trying to figure out why my site isn't getting sale's and what could be done to improve my ratio's. I've heard about people trading "plugs" with other site's to help bring in more traffic however I don't quit understand where to find "plug" trader's and how exactly to add a "plug" to a wordpress or CMS type of site.
Wow, that's quite a few question's right there and I'm sure all of you can tell just how much of an AW newb I am now. lol..If any of you "pros" could give me some advice, help, strategies, or whatever..I would be more than willing to try and return the favor by giving you links, traffic, or whatever I can do to help you out in return.
