I'm fully agree what search/replace method is a really easy thing (BTW, it's not a hackjob but a plugin which uses standard open API's of WordPress). I'd say it's very simple and even rude algorithm. But I also know that at least 2 guys on this board were to smart to patent the random feed content morphing script is the USA as their innovating invention
