If that's true then she fell far short of her potential. Mariah has far FAR outstripped anything Kim Wilde ever accomplished, and has attained an iconic level of fame. Kim Wilde, is she even on the radar these days?

Some might dispute that, but I'll agree with you. Back in her "heyday" I seem to remember Kim Wilde as being quite a looker.
